The Namesake
We are extremely proud to announce that SASA 2007 Miami is proudly being sponsored by the soon to be released FOX Searchlight Film "THE NAMESAKE", Directed by Mira Nair. "The Namesake" is based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize Winner - Jhumpa Lahiri starring Kal Penn, Tabu, Irfan Khan and Jacinda Barrett. The movie will actually be released nationwide on March 9th 2007, however, as a special treat for SASA 2007 Miami registrants, we will be having a limited advance screening during the conference on Thursday January 4th 2007. It will be on a first come first serve basis, as seats are limited. Once you have registered for the conference, you may then sign up to be part of this limited screening.
